Seeing Double Moons
What am I going to do? One minute I'm driving to my first day of college. The next minute I wake up and I'm not me anymore. I'm Serena! Serena Tsukino. Sailor Moon. Good I must've hit my head good or something. It's not humanly possible that I could look and SOUND like a cartoon character! Those were the things running through my mind when I woke in the hospital bed after the car accident. The nurses were speaking Japanese and I could understand them. Then I looked in the mirror. I wasn't looking at me anymore. I was looking at Serena Tsukino, aka Sailor Moon. "How in the hell..." I stopped my swearing as I realized that I wasn't using my voice. It was Serena's. "I've really done it. I've gone insane. It's not fair what did I do to deserve this?" I jumped back into the bed. I was trying to tell myself that this was just a dream and that if I went back to sleep that I'd wake up and be myself again. I drifted off to sleep. That was when I met Sailor Pluto. "It's nice to meet you agian," Pluto said. "All right. I don't give a crap about the future. I want to know about why the hell you did this to me!" I yelled. "No need to yell. I was about to tell you," Pluto said. "You obviously know more about us than I thought." "I know the whole story. I know all about the Senshi. They don't call me a lunatic for nothing," I said. "Well all that's going to happen in the future that you already know about is going to change," Pluto said. "The stone's been thrown in and it's going to change the future. I hope for the better." "You mean me don't you," I said. "Why did you do this to me anyway? I can't be a dream. It's too weird." "No it's not a dream," Pluto said. "I need, no Serena needed, you here." "She doesn't even know I exist. How can you say that?" I asked. "She just doesn't remember," Pluto said. "Let me explain. During the Silver Millenium a prohpet told the Queen that her first born child would not become the Queen. That her destiny went a different way. So to make sure that her daughter would be able to follow her destiny, the Queen gave her daughter to the prophet to be raised and learn of her destiny. The prophet swore to bring the girl back as soon as he learned what her destiny was." "The child your talking about is me? How's that possible? I can't be Serena's sister. We're not even from the same dimension," I said. "You returned when you became Sailor Moon for the first time, but by then it was too late. You futilly attempted to save everyone. You died with the rest of us. Only your mother and I knew of your existance. You were to be reborn with us all, but some divine intervention pushed you away once more," Pluto said. "I pulled some strings to get you into the car accident. It allowed me to transport you here without causing to much of a scene," Pluto said. "Serena unfortunatly got into an accident at the same time. The only way I can explain what happen would be that you went to help her, but somehow you got messed up along the way. You're inside Serena." "It sounds like I have the Tuxedo Mask syndrome," I said. "But how do I get out? And what about Serena?" "I don't know to both. But I'm working on finding out both," Pluto said. "For now don't tell anyone. I don't need people trying to break down my doors for answers. They still don't know about me yet anyway." "How do I pull that off? It'll be obvious that Serena's acting funny," I said. "You'd be surprised," Pluto said. "Excuse me!" I exclaimed. Pluto just laughed. "Now hurry up and go everyone's worried," she said. "Wait when am I? I'd appreciate anything that won't make me spill the beans," I said. "The Inners are still fighting those two aliens, Ann and Allen," Pluto said. "Now go!" I woke up to find everyone crowded around my bed. "Umm...hello," I said. It felt weird looking at all these people that only minutes before had been imaginary to me. It wasn't easy trying to pull off not being to obvious that I wasn't really Serena. "Hey how are you feeling?" Lita asked. "Umm..better," I said. "When that youma bonked you on the head you were out like a light for nearly two days," Mina said. "That long?" I asked. That gave me an idea. I could use the bonk on the head as a cover up, just in case I didn't act like Serena, like Pluto so blatantly put it. Pluto was going to get it for that line. "Well I want to get out of here. Do you know when they'll let me out of here?" "The doctor said that want you to be here overnight atleast. They need to run some more tests," Ami said. "My mom's working here so you can ask her any questions you have." "All right," I said. Maybe I could get some information from Dr. Mizuno about some of the things that I could do. For one thing I started to speak Japanese as well as I understood it. Maybe I was using Serena's memories of the basics ( speaking, listening, comprehending ). I'd have to see how far the knowledge went and how much I'd have to find out for myself. "I'm sorry girls, but visiting hours are over," a female doctor said. "Don't worry I'll take good care of Serena for you." "I know you will, mom," Ami said. So that was Ami's mom. Maybe I could find out what I could do in this place. The hospital room I was in didn't seem too interesting. After everyone left I posed my question. "Umm...am I allowed to move about and trying to find something to do?" I asked. "I don't know what you mean," Dr. Mizuno said. "Well I'm going to get really antsy in a short while. I was wondering if there was something in this place I could keep myself busy with," I said. Dr. Mizuno smiled. "Yes. In a short while there's going to be a bunch of kids about your age doing some crafts in the activity room. Then in another room there's supposed to be someone bringing a bunch of books for the sick children to read," Dr. Mizuno said. "Really. Well I'll have to go check them out. Where are they?" I asked. Dr. Mizuno gave me a quick tour of the floor the children were on. She couldn't stay long because she was very busy. I didn't really mind I understood what it must be like to be in her shoes. I knew that I had made a good choice when I decided to get into computer sciences over the medical sciences. I entered the room where they were doing crafts. I wasn't quite interested in making paper bag puppets with some five year olds. It would have been fun if I had the time to sit there and help them, but I wanted answers. I headed for the room with the books. I was going to see if I could read. "Hello there. Is there something I can help you with?" a young man asked. "Umm...I'm just looking for a book. What do you have?" I asked. "Well a lot of different stuff. What are you interested in?" he asked. "An ET type books?" I asked. "Huh?" I made a boo boo saying that. "You know extraterrestrials. Science fiction?" I asked. "If you don't have any then maybe a fantasy book." "Well...umm...let's see," the young man went through the piles of books looking for something I would enjoy reading. He pulled out six or seven books. "What are they?" I asked. "Well the closest thing I have to science fiction is this astrology book. I don't have any fantasy, so I pulled out some romance novels. You might like those better than the science fiction ones," he said. Typical male, I thought. "Well thanks. Do you mind if I take them to my room?" I asked. "No that's all right. I'll be coming here for the rest of the week so you should be able to finish those and return them to me," he said. I smiled my thanks and headed to my room, before I made a fool of Serena. That guy is an ass, I thought. If I weren't trying my hardest to not stick out I would have chewed that guy out. The next day I went back to the library guy. I returned more than half the books. He looked at me in shock. I just couldn't stop reading the night before. I had always wanted to learn Japanese and then look at me. With Serena's help I had done it. I wanted more. I took two more books knowing that I wouldn't be there much longer. The stories weren't much. In fact all the books were terrible. Why anyone would want to read those things if they had a choice, was beyond me. Later on that day, Serena's family came and picked me up. I would be returning "home". Not that I was looking forward to it exactly. There was still a lot of things I needed to accept. At first it was just spur of the moment. I was adapting to my new surroundings. As I learned new things about my new "body", the excitment grew. Unfortunatly the car ride "home" didn't help me at all. Luna was very happy to see me. "I'm so glad that you're all right," she said. "It's good to see you too, Luna," I said. I hurried up to my room. I wanted to be alone, but Luna wasn't about to let that happen. "Serena, those cardians have stopped attacking, momentarily," Luna said. "We need to work out a plan of attack." "Well why don't we try to find out who's in charge?" I asked. Trying to sound like Serena and knowing that I failed miserably by bringing up the question period. "What?! Serena you've actually said something intelligent," Luna said. "Thanks Luna," I said. "I was just thinking about it when I was in the hospital." "Well maybe I should see Ami and ask her about it," Luna said. "You do that. Right now I want to go for a walk. I'll be back later," I said as I rushed out of the room. I started walking. I was going to see if I could access Serena's memory of where everything was. I was hoping that I wouldn't run into anyone. They might start asking questions and I wasn't reading to deal with that. I started off trying to get to the school. If I could get there I had nothing to worry about. It wasn't that hard. I just simply looked it up in Serena's memory and walked there. From there I went to the arcade. I decided that I guess it was time for some interaction. I figured that maybe if I started somewhere simple then I could to something bigger. "Hey Serena. How've you been? I heard you were in the hospital," Andrew said. Then the thing I had been dreading the most. Darien popped out of no where. "You were in the hospital. How'd that happen. You sprain your ankle one to many times?" Darien asked. "You know sometimes I wish you would just shut up. You could really use an attitude adjustment," I said and immediatly wanted to take it back. Serena never would have done that. Especially since she knew who they really were. Darien just stood there shocked. I couldn't help but smile. Andrew laughed. "I never knew you had it in you, Serena," Andrew said. "I thought you'd take his lip forever." "Well people change," I said. I headed over to one of the Sailor V games. I stood aside watching for a while, before I understood the basics of it. I sat down after a while and pulled out a coin to put in the machine. The game started and I went along. I started off doing all right. Then as I figured out how to do it, I got better fast. Andrew came over after a while. "Hey that's the best score you ever got," Andrew said. Darien was right behind him. "How'd you acomplish that? Cheat or something?" he asked. I ignored him and continued playing. Eventually I died. Hey no one's perfect. I turned around and saw that I had gathered quite a crowd. I blushed at all the attention. Everyone sent their congrats my way and I got up and headed away from the crowd. "Where you going Serena? You've only played one game," Andrew said. "I don't feel like playing anymore," I said as I continued on. "Don't feel like playing?" both Andrew and Darien said. I ignored them and headed for the park. I sat down by the shore of the pond and hugged my knees to my chest. That wasn't exactly what I had planned on doing, but I guess it was better that I did it that way. "You're going to get into trouble this way," I said to myself. "Well there's an up to all of this. It proves that I can use all this imformation up here in this meatball brain." "HEY!" a voice said. "What? Is that you Serena?" I asked. "What do you think?" the voice said. "What are you doing in my body?" "I...umm...it's hard to explain," I said. "I've been told that I can't tell anyone just yet." "What? How am I supposed to trust you?" Serena asked. "I've got orders from way up. From...from... your mother," I said. "What? My mother?" she said. Well close to the truth. Pluto's rank had to at least be equivalent to it at this day in age. Seeing as she was the eldest. "Yes, your mother. Now if you don't trust her then I can see that you won't trust me," I said. "All right. All right. I'll trust you for now. You've just got to let me in on some things," Serena said. "Like what?" I asked. "Like the next time you think it's a good idea to mouth off like you did early. Let me know before hand," Serena said. "Well my mouth moves faster than my brain so, I think you're going to be out of luck," I said. "Maybe you should just stay away from Darien," she said. "Well with my luck that's not going to happen," I said. "Maybe you just shouldn't talk to him," Serena said. "You mean maybe he shouldn't talk to you. That's not likely to happen if he still is obsessed with calling you meatball head," I said. "What do you mean?" Serena asked. "I mean he acts like a two year old and can't even explain it. I personally think that it's because in his heart he knows who he is, but just doesn't know how to explain it," I said. "Huh?" she said. "Don't worry about it. It's not important," I said. "What ever you say," Serena said. "Well, I better get you back home. Luna'll kill me if I don't get you home soon," I said. "When are you going to be able to get out of my body?" Serena asked. "I don't know. I'm working on it. I wish I could tell you that I'm going to be out of here soon, but I don't know," I said. "I understand," Serena said. "I'm sorry," I said as I stood up and walked to Serena's home. The one thing I was dreading most was having to face off against a cardian. I didn't have any idea what was going to happen. I wasn't ready to face off against a cardian. I was still adapting to living in Tokyo. Luna was starting to wonder about me when I came home with a 90 on a test. "I...umm..it was just easy," I said. Luna didn't let up. That test was going to fail me in being Serena. The moment I had been dreading came when I least wanted it. It wasn't a good sign either. It was Four Face ( for anyome who doesn't know who I'm talking about, in the NA dub, the last Ann and Allen episodes start with the cardian, Four Face, draing energy from everyone at a Sailor Moon show. ) Luckily, well sort of, it went away before I could act. I knew that things would heat up really soon. "What's going on? You know what's going on so tell me!" Serena wailed. "Don't worry about it. I'll handle it. I guess it's my job," I said. The next day I went to school. Ann and Allen were absent. I debated on whether or not I should go see them. "She may be a real jerk sometimes, but I feel bad for her. Let's go," Serena said. It seemed like the Serena thing to do, so I did. I stopped by alone. Ann scowled at me when she opened the door. "Can I help you?" Ann asked. "I just wanted to see how you and Allen were doing," I said. "Why do you care?" Ann asked. "Well you're new and all and I figured it'd be nice if someone cared," I said. "Well that's nice. We're fine. You can leave now," Ann said. Allen popped his head around the corner. "Oh hi Serena. I thought I heard your voice," Allen said. "Would you like some hot cocoa?" "Umm...yeah sure," I said. Allen busied himself with making the cocoa and I waited in the parlor. I didn't know what to do. I knew what made it obvious that Ann and Allen were aliens, but I didn't want to go through all of the trouble to prove it. "What are you talking about?" Serena wailed. "Shut up," I said under my breath. I did my best to ignore her as I weighed all the possiblities. I didn't have much choice. If I didn't alter time too much then that was a good thing right? Well then it was settled I was going to go snooping. I looked her there and everywhere till I came across the room with the Doom Tree. It popped out of no where and came at me. I felt like it was draining my life out of me instead of my energy. I got lightheaded really fast and didn't even realize that Ann and Allen had come to check up on me. Ann was furious, just as I imagined. Allen went hyperprotective. I pretended to be out of it longer than I really was. I heard Ann mention the tree and that it seemed to have liked my energy. I opened my eyes and sat up. That stopped their bickering. "What were you doing snooping where you don't belong?" Ann asked me. "I'm sorry. I really shouldn't have done, whatever I did," I said trying to sound not so fake. "Look I better get going. I apologize for doing whatever I did. I won't bug you guys anymore." I ran out of there. There was no way I was going to stay in there longer than I had to. I did what I had to do and now I was gone. The next day I went to school and told Ami and Lita what had happened. "You did what?!" Lita exclaimed. "What grabbed you?" Ami asked. "I don't know," I lied. "I don't even know what happened. One minute I'm standing there the next, I'm waking up on the couch." "Well why didn't you tell us this before? Did you tell Luna?" Ami asked. "Umm...I forgot," I said. Opps. That wasn't very smart. Serena would have even remembered to do that. "Ha ha," Serena said. "Well we're going to have to have a Scout meeting today. Don't be late," Ami said. "I don't have detention. I should be able to get there early," I said. "When that happens you can shoot me, Serena," Lita said. "I'll remember that," I said. I did get to the temple early, to everyone's surprise. I was starting to think it wasn't worth the effort anymore since it would be all over soon. Or at least that was what I was praying. The meeting was really not that interesting. We decided that we were going to have to keep a look-out for any Ann or Allen sightings. My mind started to drift after a while to what would happen that night. She'd kill me if I didn't go so what choice did I have. "Why won't you tell me what's going on?" Serena asked. 'I can't. Not yet. Give me some time. I swear I'll tell you everything if you just give me time. I need to figure everything out for myself,' I told her. I was doing my best to hide my thoughts from her and it obviously wasn't working that well. "All right. I trust you," she said. It was amazing how those simple words reasured me more then I really felt. I suddenly realized that she must be really good at it. Just look at all the things she's done. "You really think that?" Serena asked. I nodded. "Earth to Serena? Wake up!" Lita said passing her hand across my eyes. "Huh? Sorry. I've just had a lot on my mind lately," I said. "We've noticed," Rei said. "You've been acting different. What's up?" "I've...I've been thinking about Darien. I just miss him so much," I said. Everyone gathered around me to console me. I smiled inside, and so did Serena. "You know me too well. I wish I knew more about you," Serena said. 'In time. In time,' I said. That night I went to the telephone poll outside Ann and Allen's apartment. I stood outside waiting for that person to finally show up. When he did, I did my best to stop him, but of course it didn't work. "Hey wait up. I'm coming too," I said. We got into the apartment, when Ann so graciously let us in. We sat down and Ann took me aside. "You know that plant thing in the other room," Ann said. "What plant thing?" I tried playing stupid. "Well than that means I haven't showed you. Come on," Ann said. "I'm not so sure. I mean can't we just stay with the food," I said. "Oh come on," Ann said dragging me to the room. "Wait. Ann don't I don't want to go in there," I said. I didn't want my brains sucked dry. That's what Ann wanted. "Too bad, you little cream puff," Ann said as she pushed me through the door. I screamed as Four Face came at me. I didn't know what to do. I was starting to black out. I couldn't stay awake. "Serena. We're in trouble," I gasped. I felt like I was being ripped apart. I felt Serena was starting to take over her own body again. Maybe it was over for me. 'Don't let me die,' I yelled in my head. 'Don't let me die.' I heard a faint yell, someone was calling out Serena's name. Then just black. To this day I don't have a clue what happened. I woke up later on and I was me again. I was good old me. I wasn't in the destroyed apartment anymore. I was back in Pluto's dimension. I got up and rushed over to Pluto. "What the hell happened? Whatever you did I'm so glad you did it," I said. "I don't know what happened. I know about as much about this as I know about how you in got in Serena in the first place," Pluto said. "Well. I'm me again. I'm me!" I exclaimed. "Yeah, but I can't let you go back," Pluto said. "WHAT?!" I exclaimed. "You know too much," Pluto said. "What's that supposed to mean! I want to go back there. I can help! Take all my memories away. Do whatever you want, but I'm ready. I wasn't before, but I'm ready. I want to be my real self!" I said. "Do you even know who you really are?" Pluto asked. "I don't know. I only know what you told me," I said. "What if it's not real?" Pluto asked. "What? I don't know. I want to do this whether it's real or not. You try being Serena for a few days and not care about what's going to happen next," I said. "What else is you've told me that I'm her sister. I want to protect her. Isn't it my job too. Not just yours." Pluto smiled. "I knew you'd say that. I never got to ask the others the same question," I said. "You can go back. I'm going to have to make you forget. It's the only way that I'll make sure you don't mess anything up." "Really? I mean, can't I just forget everything after this next battle?" I asked. "Are you joking?" Pluto asked. "Eh. It was worth a shot," I said. Pluto smiled. "All right enjoy the flight. I'll let you know who you are. It's the least I can do. Your past memories will have to come on their own though," she said. "Gee you're so kind," I said. "All those missing spaces will really make the others really happy." "Well it's the best I can do," Pluto said. "I'll try to block only the memories you have of us in the future." "All right, get ready. Here it goes," Pluto said. I woke up on the ground in the destroyed apartment. I tried to remember what was going to happen, but there was a gap in my memory. I accepted it as a nescessary mesure from Sailor Pluto. Darien and Sailor Moon were unconscious on the ground. "I'm not going to let this happen. It's time for me to take some action. To fight back against all the little twerps that weren't against me. I am Sailor Moon!" I yelled. In a flash I changed into a Sailor fuku. It was similar to Sailor Moon's execpt that it was silver. It seemed fitting, seeing as the Moon never looked gold or blue to me. It was always this silver ball that watched over me. I stood up and faced Ann and Allen. "Ann I can't have you hurting them. I won't let you contiue. I am Sailor Silver Moon. I will right the wrongs of evil and protect all that is good," I said. "Another Sailor brat. I can't stand this. Well if your standing in my way of getting Darien then maybe I should just kill you too," Ann yelled. "I'm sorry Ann. You just don't understand. If you just listen-" I tried to talk reason, but it didn't seem to work, since I got blasted in the stomach. It didn't feel too good. But I stood back up and was ready to take more. I thought really hard and searched inside. I needed to find out what to do. My gut was telling me to fight so I let it say for me, exactly what I was going to do. "Moon Crescent Force!" I yelled. In my hand came a some what familar item. A long silver staff, similar to Sailor Pluto's, except that on the top was a large silver moon on it. From the staff came a silver light. The light collected itself, and formed a beam. The beam shot through the air and hit Ann in the back, just before she could hit the now conscious Darien and Sailor Moon. They stared at me, but I pretended not to notice. There was still so much to do. I needed to protect them. Hey, it's something I always wanted to do. "Ann is there anything else you need to get off your chest?" I asked. Boy was she mad! Allen off to the side didn't looked too pleased himself. It was obvious he was angry at me for hurting Ann. "All right you little twit. I've had it!" Ann said. "There's nothing you can do Ann, but wake up!" I said. "It doesn't have to be this way." "What do you know?" Ann said. "You're not a bad person. You just don't know what it's like when people care," I said. "Ann don't you remember when Darien came into your apartment just now. He came because he wanted to know if you were all right. No it doesn't mean that he loves you, but it means that he cares about you. How about when Serena came by to see you. Yes she's nosy, but that's her. She didn't show up to snoop. She went to see if you were okay. Ann they care about your welfare. So why do you have to hurt them?" "You don't know anything! You think your so smart. All of these people must love you," Ann said. "They don't even know my name," I said tears threatening. I wanted to be apart of them, but the truth of the matter was that I was still an outsider. "Ann I'm just like you. I don't know what to do either, but I know that I can't go around killing all of these people because I have a crush on someone." "Crush! I don't have a crush on anyone," Ann said. "You don't have a clue!" She shrieked and sent another blast my way. It connected right in my stomach. It was ten times stronger than the first blast. I slowly pulled myself up. It wasn't over just yet. I stood ready to attack again. Sailor Moon yelled out, "Please stop. Don't do this!" The tree then decided that now was a good time to flip out. I was knocked over by some roots. Not to mention the rest of the Senshi and the poor cats. Then a root knocked Allen over and a second was heading straight for him. Ann transported herself in the way so that Allen wouldn't get hurt. The root conected and Ann was dying. "I'm sorry Allen. I guess I should have listened to her. I don't love him Allen. I want you to know that I love you," Ann said. "No! Ann! Please, don't leave me!" Allen yelled. The next root headed for Allen. He was ready to die. He wanted to be with Ann. For it had occured to him that he was wrong, long before Ann. "Oh please, STOP!" Sailor Moon yelled. "You think so Sailor Moon," the Tree said. There was a flash and eveyone was drawn into the vision that the Tree was sending. All except me. I was glad, since I knew exactly what he was going to say. I walked over to everyone. They were in some sort of trance. I picked up Luna, who had been so nice to me for the past few days. Not knowing that I wasn't really Serena, just in her body. I always thought that Luna was a little pushy and needed to take a break once and a while, but I realized that Luna was just Luna and there wasn't going to be any changing that. Luna's paw was all brused up and in a bandage. I remembered that she got hurt just before she got in the elevator. I took off the old bandage and rip a piece of my fuku off to make a new one. I placed the cat back down and walked over to Darien. Well at least he was okay. He wasn't in a trance like the others. He was unconscious. He must have gotten hit bad by one of the branches. I brushed some hair out of his face and once again saw what Serena saw in him. He was so handsome. Luck little twerp. Well at least she could hear me say that. I looked over at Ann and Allen. I was happy for them. Ann was going to get her happily ever after. I smiled and looked over at the tree. In a flash it was gone. Darien slowly got up and I went to help him up. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Yeah. Who are you?" Darien asked. "You could say I'm a guardian angel from afar, but that wouldn't be all that accurate," I said. "I'll explain everything when we're all settled." He looked at me sceptically, but I shook my head. "Go. She'll be up soon," I said pushing him in Serena's direction. His face lit up. I swear I was going to cry. The two of them always made me want to do that. They were just so perfect and so romantic. I turned around to see Artemis and Luna stirring. They were probably the leaast hurt of them all, seeing as the Scouts took two blows instead of the one that the guardian cats two. "Who are you?" Luna asked. "You're not a Senshi." "I am the real Sailor Moon," I said flatly. "And if you'd be so kind as to wait for everyone else, I can explain this all later." The end of a life I once knew happened because a few words I said. The vow to protect and the vow to serve. Interesting isn't it that in an instant you can change your entire life. Boy am I glad I did. I stood there though with all of them staring at me and I wasn't so sure I made the right choice. Gosh they can really scare someone if they try. "Umm...could you not stare at me like that, your starting to scare me," I said meekly. They all blushed and breathed a sigh of relief. The stares let up and I could explain. We were all sitting comfortably in Rei's temple. Although it was really late and they all should be home, we weren't Scout business was just pressing at the moment. "Well I'm not sure how to explain this. I was never told the details. But I'm not really from around here. At least in this life I'm not. I'm originally from the Moon Kingdom like all of you. We've never met, because of a profecy made years before you were born. Just before I was born, in fact. Queen Serenity had me live with this prophet for years until we learned what my destiny was," I said. "Although I don't remember this I was told this so I have to trust her." "Who?" Rei asked. I thought for a moment. Right then and there they weren't going to believe me if I said Pluto so I went with the old excuse I used on Serena. "My mother. Queen Serenity," I said. Everyone gasped. The stares returned and I wished I could have crawled into a hole. "Why didn't we know about you?" Luna asked. "I don't know. Just Queen Serenity knew about me. I don't know," I stumbled on the words feeling more and more self conscious. "Stop!" Serena said taking control of the difficult situtation. "Give her some breathing room." They all backed off on the command. Now only she was looking at me. "Are you lying?" Serena asked. "No. I wish I were, but I'm not," I said. "Oh and I'm sorry about before. Don't ask me how I got out of you." That started another round of huhs. I sighed and explained that I'm not from their dimension and I was brought here and somehow got lost on the way. I couldn't tell them more for fearing that I'd reveal Pluto. "Well that doesn't tell us much," Luna said frustratedly. "Look I wish I could tell you more, but I don't know anything else!" I yelled. I was getting sick of the stress. "Stop it Luna," Serena said. "I trust her even if you don't." Luna was going to contiued but Artemis stopped her. "There's a lot about the Moon Kingdom that some of us never knew about. Like there are things about each other that we never knew about," Artemis said. "I think it's safe to say that she's trust worthy. I don't think she'd lie about Serenity telling her something. And plus she had the chance to do something to Serena before and she didn't do anything." Darien nodded slowly and soon enough everyone else was consenting. I stood up and headed to the door. I was getting restless. All that worrying for them to just nod. "Where are you going?" Mina asked. "I'm getting ansty. I need some air," I said. I went outside and tried to get away from the people just for a moment. I sat down underneath a tree and stared at the moon. I started to wonder what it was like to live there. Maybe I never did. Maybe that prophet wasn't even from the moon and my eyes didn't see it until I was going to save my home. I heard Serena coming before I saw her. She was as noisy as heck. "Hey Serena," I said. "How'd you know I was coming?" she asked. "You weren't about to leave me here alone, for fear I might vanish. And you are not very quite about your walking around," I said. "Oh," she said as she sat down beside me. "I don't even know your name." "My name? Well it might have helped it I told you now wouldn't it have. My name's Celena," I said. "You know a lot about me. How come?" Serena asked. I smiled. Boy was she going to love this. "You know how you always wanted to be as famous as Sailor V? Well where I'm from you are that famous. There's a cartoon series about you. Now isn't that silly. An 18 year old knows everything there is to know about a cartoon," I said. "Wow," was all she could say. "Well. I guess it's not really important. I can't seem to remember much about it," I said. "Really. Well, if your going to be staying here with us, your going to need a place to stay," Serena said. "Don't worry about me. I'm going to get a job. I don't want anyone to have to worry about me," I said. "Well your still going to need a place to stay. Maybe Rei will let you stay with her until you get settled," Serena said. "I'll have to remember to ask," I said. "Hey you two! We're going now. Before we get into more trouble than we're already in," Mina yelled to us. "I guess that means you've got to go," I said. "Yeah, I guess. How about I come over tomorrow? There's no school, so we can spend the day together," Serena said. "I'd like that," I said. "Now you better going before your parents call the police." She smiled and nodded. She got up and ran to Darien who was waiting to give her and the others a ride home. I watched them all leave and then went to go find Rei. "I've got a place set up fo you, to stay for the night," Rei said. "Gee you read my mind," I said. She smiled. "You need a place to stay for a while. As long as you help us out, Grandpa will let you stay as long as you like," Rei said. "Well. I do what I can, but I'm going to need to get a job," I said. "Of course, don't worry about it. Chad will be happy to get any form of help he can get," Rei said. I shook my head smiling. "All right. Well good night, Rei," I said. She showed me where my room was and then we both got some well deserved sleep. The next day, Serena stopped by a lot early than I expected. She must have woke before the crack of noon for once. At least I had been up and gotten dress before she arrived. I was helping with some breakfast dishes and being introduced to Granpa and Chad, when Serena showed up. "Hey Serena. Give me a minute and then we can go," I said. When I was done, we said our goodbyes and headed out. She was going to take me to the mall first. "You know I don't have any money. I'm afraid I'm going to be wearing the same outfit for a few days. No one else is my size," I said. "Well then I'll have to get something for you," Serena said. "You don't have to. Don't you spend all your money at the arcade any way?" I asked. "No! I'm not that bad," Serena said defending herself. "All right," I said. "What's Darien doing today? I thought you'd want to see him more than me." "Well of course I want to see him, but he's working now. He promised to see me later on today," Serena said. "I'm glad that the two of you are back together again. It's about time," I said. Serena was beaming. She had this glow that I knew only came when she was thinking about Darien. I just smiled and let her have her moment. "So Serena? Where to first?" I asked. "This bargin shopper can't wait to get started." "Bargin shopper? How can you do that?" Serena asked. "I hate trendie clothes. Come on. That story looks cool," I said dragging Serena with me. Okay I admit this was a little too much for the store to have dragged her in first, but I couldn't help myself. It looked to be mainly men's clothing. I won't wear a skirt unless you have a gun to my head. ( I know the fuku is a skirt, but I'm too busy fighting to care about it then. ) Serena looked around and then back at me. "Are you sure?" she asked. "Of course," I said looking at the price tag on a black and white flannel shirt. It was really cheap. We got there at a good time. Everything was one sale, because the place was going out of business. That was too bad. I ended up getting two flannel shirts, two plain tee-shirts, and a pair of jeans. I think I did exceptionally well, seeing as it only cost $25 ( that is in American money ). Serena wasn't too sure. Why wouldn't she be the only thing she wears were skirts. "Don't look like that. I just don't like skirts," I told her. "Well I wanted to get you something you'd like, so I guess I'll live," Serena said. "Hey. Don't be mad. I guess I don't live up to your expectations," I said. "I shouldn't be like this," Serena said. "How about an ice cream?" "That sounds more like, the Serena I know," I said. "Let's go." We both got an ice cream, Serena of course got something really big. I made sure that I didn't get anything too big. I wasn't the one paying. When we were done Serena said she was going to bring me over to Lita's. She had a surprise or something for me. Lita greeted us at the door. "Come on in. I'll be ready in a minute," Lita said. "Okay. Celena come on. We'll wait for her in the parlor," Serena said dragging me with her. She plopped me down on the couch and we waited. "Are you ready?" Lita asked. "I guess so," I said. "Well surprise!" Lita and everyone else yelled. They had planned a surprise welcome party. Everyone was here. Darien obviously hadn't been working, or at least not for pay. I smiled and finally felt welcome into the group. It was great. Lita cooked, and I've always heard that it was good, but now I knew for a fact. Mina and Rei went out to get me a gift. "We weren't sure what to get you, but Serena suggested this," Rei said. I laughed as I opened up the box to find a Sailor Moon doll. "You guys are too much," I said. "Thank you. This whole thing means a lot to me." "Hey no problem. It's only fair. If your the real Sailor Moon then maybe Meatball Head can stop blundering and sit back and watch for a while," Rei said. I knew where she was headed, so I stopped her. "I'm not here to replace anyone. I'm just here to help you guys. It's my job and I'm only too happy to do it," I said. "Well welcome to the group, Sailor Moon," Mina said. I had a really great family, now. It didn't stop me from thinking about my old family. They most feel terrible, but I guess it was inevitable that something would have happened. Now I was who I really was and I didn't have to worry about fitting in, because I had already done that a thousand years ago.
